BF Streakin Merridoc is becoming a legend himself, (the very first son of A STREAK OF FLING to come to Canada) it’s his maternal lines that set him apart from all the rest! His maternal ancestors are today’s legends! Influencing the barrel racing industry from the futurity/derby ranks to NFR and WPRA champions; truly shaping the direction of our industry today!
“Merri” has touched our lives with his gentle and willing disposition. We are so proud of how he has created his own legacy from right here on our ranch. Merri has lived in Manitoba since we purchased him as a 2 year old from the Fulton Family. He has just quietly bred his way to greatness. He has produced so many great trainable horses; Winners who’s owners love them. Barrel and Rope horses from our ranches mares as well as outside mares. His success rate from mares in foal to usable horses is nothing short of amazing. From Canadian Professional Rodeo Finals, Calgary Stampede qualifying barrel horses to PBR safety horses; futurity and rodeo Head horses, Futurity and Derby barrel champion horses to all of levels of Junior and High School rodeo Winners. His foals are proving to be like so many other greats are sound, correct, athletic, easy moving, ratey and very attractive but what truly sets his foals apart is their disposition.
Merri is extremely fertile; his semen count is very strong! He cools and ships well, freezes and settles mares near and far. He is 5 Panel N/N and now his daughters are proving to be extremely fertile. Long story short he is what a breeding horse should be; a well bred horse who passes his greatness on consistently.
